Terms and Conditions
Occasionally, you many need to cancel or reschedule a class. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a class for
which you have registered and been confirmed for in writing, we'll make every effort to accommodate your new requirements. However, since this involves additional costs for us, the following cancellation policy will apply:
- A student or organization may cancel or reschedule by submitting written notice to info@nhmn.com no later than 10 business days prior to the start of a class with no penalty.
- If a cancellation or reschedule occurs less than ten business days before the start date of a class, the full invoice amount must be paid. 50% will be applied as cancellation/reschedule fee, with the remaining 50% applied as a prepayment credit towards a future class. This credit must be used within six months of the original class start date.
- A student or an organization that fails to submit written notice to info@nhmn.com of a cancellation or reschedule and does not show for the class that they were registered and confirmed for, in writing, are obligated for 100% of the tuition. Full payment will be expected with no credit towards a future offering.
Students may send a replacement if they are unable to attend but the replacement must meet the class prerequisites. In the unlikely event that your training course does not take place after your booking has been confirmed in writing, we'll make every effort to reschedule the course, and you'll be offered an alternative date to take the course.
New Horizons of Minnesota may need to cancel or reschedule any class not meeting minimum registration requirements, and if this occurs, we'll contact you and reschedule or refund your fees.
Note: If you are an individual, self-paying student and give documented notice of cancellation after your class has started but before your class is 75% complete, you'll receive a pro rata refund of all charges except for 25% of your total class fee but not to exceed $100.00. If you attend more than 75% of your class, no refund will be given. We will acknowledge a valid notice of cancellation within 10 business day after the receipt of such notice and within 30 business days will refund you any amounts due. If you are an individual that's self-paying for your training and not receiving funds through a Dislocated Worker Program or college, please click here for more information.
