It is the responsibility of Executive Management and the Project Management Office to establish a mindset for the day-to-day use of Microsoft Project. The YJTJ Process was designed to provide that mindset by providing project managers with a cognitive ability to work in concert with, as opposed to in conflict with, Microsoft Project. The YJTJ concepts provide the foundational building blocks that enable successful project, resource, and portfolio management.

The Microsoft Office Suite has received a major facelift and a whole bunch of new features that will make you smile. This session will cover some of the more popular changes in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. It will also take a look at the basic changes in the interface to make navigation a piece of cake. Come take a look and you will quickly be on your way to mastering the new Microsoft Office features. Students need to have a basic understanding of the 2003 Microsoft Office Suite to get the most out of this session.


Microsoft Visio and Creating Flowcharts

Participants will learn basics behind creating Visio flowcharts as well as some different techniques for managing larger diagrams. We will also explore some tips and tricks to creating flowcharts and presenting a flowchart without the need to use PowerPoint. Participants should have a basic understanding of how to use Visio and are looking to improve their proficiencies with Visio.
