In this session, we will show how Expression Blend uses the power and flexibility of XAML to help deliver compelling experiences to both the desktop and the web via WPF and SilverLight. Blend allows the designer to use their complete range of skills, leveraging video, vector and pixel art, 3D content and audio while seamlessly integrating into the developer's workflow.

Documentation and Training with Adobe Technical Communication Suite
10:15 - 11:30 (Track 2)

Jon Buck, New Horizons of Minnesota
Session Level: 100–Beginner
This session will give you a firsthand look at the documentation and training process using Adobe Technical Communication suite. The session will highlight FrameMaker, Acrobat, RoboHelp and Captivate. FrameMaker allows technical writers and trainers to organize content by topic and output it to multiple formats. Acrobat will allow you to take your existing FrameMaker content and make it easily accessible by creating PDF files rich with navigation. RoboHelp provides an attractive alternative to the traditional paper training material. Using the information from FrameMaker, RoboHelp will create a web-based version of your training material. You can then make your training more interactive by adding pop-out screens, simulations and training scenarios created in Captivate. Captivate makes creating training demonstrations and simulations a snap. The screen capture technology allows trainers to develop rich training material which is used to reaffirm the content created in FrameMaker. These training scenarios can be linked to the training documentation using Adobe RoboHelp.
