Account Development Representative

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Minnesota offers customers targeted education on cutting-edge applications for IT, Developer and Business Professionals. Our team is seeking a full-time Account Development Representative to compliment an already successful and talented team. As a member of this team you will be expected to create a positive student experience and build lasting relationships upon which the success of this company has been built.

As an Account Development Representative you will contact potential customers and profile their past education history to help uncover training opportunities for Account Executives in existing named territories. You will also be calling customers who have responded to marketing campaigns or who have relationships with our partners like Microsoft. You will be responsible for tracking all clients and leads and implementing a successful plan to achieve revenue expectations.

You will also be responsible for mastering the sales tools and processes to add value to our customers. Each representative will be responsible for developing a time management plan, score card measurements, line of business strategy and a territory strategy for successful account penetration.


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Some successful direct sales or customer interaction experience
  • Strong customer service skills and a desire to help people
  • Computer literacy: basic computer skills for applications, prospecting, marketing and customer contact management
  • Strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative and dependability
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire and ability to operate in a team environment
  • Ability to set goals and hold oneself accountable for delivering
Salary / Compensation
  • $36,000 to $42,000 base with a commission/bonus plan at 100% of quota
  • Participate in a company profit sharing program
