New Horizons Receives the Highest Marks for Overall Student Satisfaction


ANAHEIM, Calif., January 13, 2004 – New Horizons Computer Learning Centers (Nasdaq: NEWH), the world’s largest independent IT training company, has announced that in a ranking of Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers (CTECs) in terms of overall student satisfaction, seventy percent of the top ten CTECs were New Horizons centers. The listing is based on student evaluation scores collected during the first three quarters of 2003.


Microsoft Corporation uses measurements from KnowledgeAdvisors online evaluation system, Metrics that Matter™, to rank its certified training partners. Data is captured from student survey responses and is objectively and independently analyzed by KnowledgeAdvisors to provide reporting back to Microsoft on key performance indicators. Microsoft CTECs use the Metrics that Matter tool to measure quality and student satisfaction to improve performance and benchmark against peers. In a month-over-month ranking of CTECs, an average of seven out of the top ten CTECs listed was New Horizons centers. The list is based on overall satisfaction scores during the first three quarters of 2003.
