New Horizons of Minnesota Instructor Wins Prestigious Award
Edina, MN - August 29, 2005 - On Saturday, August 20 th at the International New Horizons Conference, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) instructor Eric Goodoien of New Horizons of Minnesota received the 2005 Technical Instructor of the Year Award. The global conference was held in Anaheim, CA and over a thousand New Horizons employees, as well as technology partners, attended the event. Both his score of 8.82 and evaluation quantity of 557 were the highest in the world. To qualify for this esteemed award, instructors had to have a minimum requirement of 350 evaluations.
Goodoien is one of four New Horizons of Minnesota Information Technology instructors and one of three ITIL instructors on staff. He’s been with the company for over three years and has more than 10 years of industry experience. "I have tremendous respect for my ITIL colleagues and the passion they exude surrounding ITIL. The ITIL students I encounter share that passion," Goodoien says. He holds degrees in Early Education, Psychology and Art from Concordia College in St. Paul, MN. Goodoien is well-respected by both students and colleagues. Students frequently comment on his vast ITIL knowledge, his education delivery and style.
